Taps and mixers are the simplest jobs on our van — and the ones people put off longest, because a drip feels harmless. It isn't: a steady drip wastes water every hour of every day, and a stiff ceramic cartridge usually fails completely not long after it starts sticking.
We'll repair where a repair is sensible, and replace where the body has failed. You get the part price before it's fitted, so there's no surprise on the invoice.

Can you repair the tap instead of replacing it?
Often yes — cartridge and valve repairs are cheaper than a new tap where the body is sound. If the body is cracked or scaled through, we'll tell you straight that replacement is the better spend.
Do you supply the tap or mixers?

How long does a mixer replacement take?
Typically a single visit once the correct unit is on hand. That's why the photo matters — it lets us check the fitting before we come.
