A running cistern is the most expensive quiet fault in a Singapore flat — it keeps refilling, and you only find out when the water bill arrives. Flush valves, inlet valves and seals are the usual causes, and they're normally a same-visit repair.
If the bowl itself has failed, cracked or simply needs replacing, that's a bigger job: we quote the fixture and the fitting separately, and you approve the number before anything is disconnected.

How do I check whether my cistern is running?
Lift the lid and look at the water level. If it's trickling into the bowl after the flush finishes, or you can hear a hiss that restarts on its own, a valve or seal has failed. Mark the tank level with a pencil and check it an hour later — if it's dropped, it's leaking through.
Is it worth repairing an old cistern?
Usually yes. Valve and seal work is a modest call-out. If the cistern is cracked or the fittings are obsolete, we'll say so and quote a replacement rather than charging you for a repair that won't hold.
Can you replace the toilet bowl too?
Yes. Water closet replacement is quoted on site so fixture and fitting are priced clearly, and it's confirmed with you before the old unit is removed.
